Terms of Service

Last updated July 17, 2026.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Reverie, an AI-guided dream journal ("the Service", "we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Reverie account or use the Service. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. The Service

Reverie lets you record dreams and receive an AI-generated, Jungian-informed interpretation, an AI-generated image, and optionally an AI-generated short video visualizing the dream. You can also choose to contribute anonymized data (a general region and extracted themes/mood — never your dream text itself) to a collective community view, and separately choose to allow an individual dream to be anonymously featured on Reverie's YouTube channel. Both of these are optional and can be turned on or off at any time from within the app.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information and use one account per person.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Reverie offers a free tier (including one AI-generated video per week) and a paid subscription ($7.99/month) that removes the weekly video limit. Subscriptions are billed and managed through Stripe. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal linked from the app. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — see Refunds below for more.

5. Refunds

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. If you cancel, you'll keep access through the end of the billing period you've already paid for, but we don't provide prorated or partial refunds for unused time. If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge or a billing mistake — email aiemailforme55@gmail.com and we'll look into it on a case-by-case basis.

6. Acceptable use

Please don't use Reverie to submit illegal content, impersonate or harass others, or attempt to abuse, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

7. AI-generated content is not professional advice

Interpretations, mood classifications, images, and videos generated by Reverie are produced by AI and are intended for self-reflection and entertainment only. They are nota substitute for therapy, counseling, or medical or psychological advice. If you're struggling emotionally, please reach out to a qualified professional or a crisis line in your area.

8. Your content

You own what you write. By submitting a dream entry, you grant Reverie the limited right to process it — including sending it to the third-party AI services described in our Privacy Policy — solely to provide the Service to you. If you opt in to the collective community view or to featuring a specific dream on our YouTube channel, that data is used only as described in the Privacy Policy, and you can withdraw either consent at any time in-app.

9. Third-party links

Reverie may link to books or other products via the Amazon Associates program. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through those links. We aren't responsible for third-party sites you visit from Reverie.

10. Termination

You may stop using Reverie and request account deletion at any time (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reverie isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Reverie after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
